COVID-19 Vaccination / Testing Protocol

At this time, none of our shows require health checks for entry, but please note that requirements and venue protocols (such as masking, testing, and vaccination) are subject to change. Be sure to check the event page for your show and our social media pages closer to the show date.

FOR SHOWS THAT REQUIRE VACCINATION/PROOF OF NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST:

What kind of COVID-19 test is considered a diagnostic test?

A PCR or antigen COVID-19 test will be accepted – please be sure to bring printed proof of your negative test result, dated and time-stamped.

Will at-home COVID-19 tests be accepted?

At-home rapid tests will not be accepted. Tests must come from a pharmacy or medical provider.

What kind of proof is acceptable?

Proof must be a printed or digital copy of a negative test result or vaccination, or the original vaccination card. A printed photocopy of your vaccination card is acceptable. Digital proof such as a photo of your vaccine card on your phone or screenshots of negative results will be accepted provided your name, date of birth, and date(s) of your vaccination(s) OR test administration are visible.

I have received my first COVID-19 vaccination dose, will my first dose vaccination card be accepted at entry?

Proof of full vaccination requires the last vaccination dose to be administered at least two weeks prior to the event date. If your dose is from a vaccine series that requires two doses, full vaccination status requirement would be met only 14 days after the second dose. For those guests who have only received the first of two doses, proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test will be required, and taken within 72 hours prior to the event date.

How soon to the event date should I take a COVID-19 diagnostic test?

For events that require proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test, most events are requiring the test to be taken within 72 hours prior to the event date. Check the event details page for Health Check requirements for your specific event.

I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions, am I unable to attend an event requiring vaccination?

When an event requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination, unvaccinated fans with a valid medical restriction will be required to provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test prior to entering the venue.

Do you require a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test?

Events require proof of either a negative PCR or antigen COVID-19 diagnostic test.

Will I have to wear a mask?

Guests are encouraged to wear a mask if they’d like to.

Where are you located?

We are located at 401 W Van Buren St. Phoenix, AZ 85003. The Box Office is located on 4th Ave and the Main Entrance is on 5th Ave.

Where Can I Park?

Unfortunately, The Van Buren does not offer on-site parking. Theres is limited street parking and some other lots around the venue that offer paid parking. It fills up quick though, so we recommend using Light Rail, Rideshare or other transportation when possible.

What is Your Refund Policy?

 

Refunds are automatically issued when an event cancels. Refunds will be provided via the original point of purchase (TicketWeb or Ticketmaster).

If tickets were purchased with cash at the Box Office, an in-person refund will be required. Please present your tickets or order confirmation number. Support acts are subject to change without notice.

Support acts are always subject to change, there are no refunds when support acts cancel.

 

 

Can you scan my ticket from my phone?

 

Yes, please have the ticket(s) pulled up or dowloaded prior to reaching the entrance gates, with your phone’s brightness turned all the way up.

 

 

Can I purchase tickets for Crescent Ballroom and Valley Bar shows?

 

As of March 15, tickets for events at Crescent Ballroom and Valley Bar may be purchased online, at Stinkweeds Record Store, or day of show at the door (depending on availability).

When is the Box Office Open?

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, and to protect the health and safety of our guests and venue staff members, the box office at The Van Buren will be open on-day-of-show only.
