Jose Alberto Flores Jandete “Chuponcito” was born in the year of 1969. He is a father of household of three children. Since childhood he was always restless, menace and a funny kid. Coming from a very humble and hard working family, while attending elementary school, due to his short and chubby appearance, Jose Alberto aka “Beto”, had various nicknames from his friends such as “pool cap, dimwit, pacifier” etc. When he was seven years old, one of his friends had a birthday coming up and Beto mentioned that if he was invited, would play a funny clown. He took the shoes, the pants and the t-shirt that belong to his dad and he bought water paint at a local stationary store. He got into character to do his first performance creating a lot of joy at that birthday celebration. From then on, he continued promoting himself as a clown. With his earnings he started buying professional make-up and wardrobe. He took a look at every nickname that his friends had given to him and he decided to go with “Chupon” (meaning pacifier), only he used as diminutive to bring life to his character making it “Chuponcito”. That is how his career as a funny clown started forty years ago.
He worked for many different companies and he worked at children’s parties during weekends.
He was always very ambitious, entrepreneur and a hard worker. Today he sees that the dream of being a famous clown it came true. For this, he had to knock a lot of doors and he faced many challenges and disappointments until he won a contest to be a cast for a TV show called Se Vale. He remained on the air for three years uninterrupted.
Currently Chuponcito has its show for children and adults always characterized as a funny, irreverent, tender and very witty clown.
Today he has been touring for a year and a half uninterrupted with his show for adults and has done over 300 shown in Mexico.
